Prerequisite – Introduction to EMT Conduit Bending or equivalent trade experience.

This course includes shop lectures and hands-on experience in bending large EMT and rigid conduit. Students will learn safety procedures and proper layout fundamentals for bending 1” through to 2” conduit using mechanical, hydraulic and power bending equipment. Threading and cutting of rigid will also be covered. Lectures using mathematical formulas and application techniques will give each student the training needed for confident and accurate conduit bending.

This course will also acquaint students with various types of bending equipment available on job sites and familiarize students with the correct set-up and operation of these large conduit benders.
