Members successfully completing the Fire Alarm & Protection Systems four-level program will receive a certification card. This card is recognized by the Fire Marshall’s office for performing annual tests, inspections, repairs and alterations to existing Fire Alarm systems as outlined in the Ontario Fire Code Reg. 388/97.

Prerequisite - Fire Alarm - Level I and Journeyperson electrician .

Integrated Fire Alarm Controls EVAC Systems & Fire Alarm Extinguishing Control Panels

This course is designed to give the student a complete and accurate look at the installation of a modern fire alarm system. Upon completion of this course the Journeyperson electrician should be capable of installing a complete fire alarm system, and all aspects related to such systems. The course references the CAN/ULC-S537 “Standard for the Verification of Fire Alarm Systems”. Level II continues from the first course with the installation of EVAC panels, extinguishing systems, and fire pumps.

This semester we are offering 2 seperate classes to accomodate the interest in this course. Please make sure you use the proper course code when registering to ensure you are enrolled in the proper code.
