| Advanced Level Voice and Data Communication Cabling Systems
Prerequisite - Successful completion of Communication Cabling - Part I. Participants should be thoroughly familiar will all aspects of UTP cable installation and testing procedures.
This course is the second step in becoming certified as an IBEW Communication Electrician (when promoted by an employer). Students successfully completing this course will have a good understanding of standards, testing procedures and alternate copper cabling installation practices.
This course has a selection of hands-on components allowing students to construct, test, and troubleshoot cabling systems. Learn all the critical termination steps required for a reliable quality cable installation. Each student will be assembling a variety of Coaxial and other data connectors. Each student will also build and test a Cat. 6 installation following 568-B, 2-1 standard practices.
